Dan Goldsack, Head of Factual
Dan is Head of Factual at Silver River. He joined the company in April from Mentorn Media where he was Executive Producer and previously Head of Development.
As the originator of popular factual ideas and as Executive Producer, Dan has been responsible for the delivery of an exciting slate of TV programmes. His EP credits include the Bafta nominated/Broadcast Award winning documentary Katie: My Beautiful Face and follow up 4-part series Katie: My Beautiful Friends for Channel 4.
He was the Executive Producer on Sky1’s hit series An Idiot Abroad starring Karl Pilkington, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. For ITV1, Dan developed and co-EP’d John Sergeant on the Tourist Trail.
During his time as Mentorn’s Head of Development, Dan successfully led the team to commissions including: BBC Three’s Underage & Pregnant, Sky1 factual format Hairspray: The School Musical and high rating single film The Man Who Can’t Stop Hiccupping for BBC One.
