Richard Bacon presents The Hidden Talent Show
Presented by Radio 5 Live’s Richard Bacon, this prime-time series show will test hundreds of people from across the country to discover their hidden physical, mental, sensory or creative skills. These are the talents we never knew we had or perhaps have never had the opportunity to discover.
The series, due to broadcast at the beginning of 2012 will test people for the hidden talents that could mean they have an ability to become fluent in a foreign language in a matter of months, be able to free-dive and hold their breath for more than four minutes at depths of more than 60 metres, have the rare talent to instinctively detect lies or have the natural ability and physiology to become an opera singer.
After the initial testing, overseen by scientists and academics, a select few will be chosen to go forward and given the opportunity to develop their skills by training with experts and take on a series of challenges to see if their new found talents can change their lives.
Richard Bacon will look at the science behind each person’s skills and follow their progress as they try out their new-found abilities.
