Between 2001 and 2004 director Richard Macer made three observational documentary films with glamour model Jordan aka Katie Price. The films followed her meteoric rise as a professional model, while she experienced the most turbulent times in her personal life. Today, she is seen by many girls and young women as an icon. Her success at converting her look into millions in the bank is a route to fame and fortune. Now Richard Macer returns to the subject to examine how Jordan/Katie Price reached her iconic status. He will draw on his personal experience of filming with her for month after month. He will interview the key characters that have helped her career become so successful. He will interview observers of the Jordan phenomena to gain a deeper understanding of her. The film will draw on archive from Richard’s own filming, including footage and interviews not previously seen.
