Fat Man’s Warning

1 x 60′, Channel 4

Meet 30 stone Steve Daly – aka ‘Tiny’ – a larger then life comedy performer from Las Vegas, USA. Clinically obese, and boasting an incredible 80” waistline, he hasn’t been able to wear shoes for two years, needs a machine to keep him breathing as he sleeps, and used to lie on a bed so he could “clean” himself after a visit to the toilet. Fat may have been funny while he toured the comedy circuit, but having recently had a heart attack in front of a full house, Steve’s had a reality check. His fat could be fatal and it’s no longer a laughing matter.

So this year, Steve Daly will be squeezing his massive behind into a 747 (no easy task given that he can’t even fit into a seat) and heading for the UK. He’s not coming over as a tourist (he can’t walk for more than an hour without resting). He’s not coming over to work (his girth tends to put off employers). He’s not even coming for the food (the portions are way too small).

Steve’s coming to show us the future…and it’s not pretty.

Fat Man’s Warning is a one hour special for Channel 4 Current Affairs. As an ambassador from the fattest country in the world, Steve is coming to show Britain exactly what lies in store if we don’t stop stuffing our faces. Putting himself on the line, showing off plenty of flesh, and generally letting it all hang out, our Fat Man is going to use himself as a walking, talking warning.
